Medical photography
Medical photography refers to photography taken in a clinical, hospital or healthcare environment. Many hospitals have medical photography and illustration departments dedicated to providing visual resources for people involved in medical care. This includes photographs, video and graphic material to provide visual records of patients' conditions and operations and to track progress of treatments for medical files. Medical photographers and illustrators also produce leaflets, posters, websites and other educational resources to assist the medical profession and the general public.
