John Durant

John is Director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Museum, where he has been since July 2005. Before moving to the USA he was the CEO of At-Bristol, a science and natural history centre in Bristol. During his career he has worked at various institutions including Imperial College London and the Science Museum. John has also been involved in many governmental consultancy posts as well as being an experienced public speaker, all of which has made him a strong champion for public engagement with science.
