Nuada Medical Specialist Imaging

Brian Lynch established Nuada Medical Specialist Imaging on Queen Anne Street in London in March 2010. Nuada (the name derives from an Irish legend of a warrior associated with healing) aims to provide advanced imaging services, previously only available in research settings in the UK, to the general public. Brian has been a champion of cutting-edge technologies since his youth, and as a business and commerce graduate started his career in Japan working in the commercial development of high-technology industries through Japan's leading trading company, Mitsui. He then spent over 15 years in the corporate finance markets of Japan, Europe and the USA before founding a successful IT services business supporting derivatives traders in the City of London, which he ran for eight years.

Brian’s vision for Nuada is to push the boundaries of imaging technology, initially focused on the 3T MRI, to make significant advances in three key areas: oncology (early detection of cancers and monitoring of treatments), neurology (detection and monitoring of cognitive deterioration) and complex musculoskeletal injury (particularly in small joints such as ankles, wrists and feet, and among elite athletes).
