Derren Ready

Derren is a registered clinical scientist at the Eastman Dental Hospital and Honorary Lecturer at UCL. His research has focused on the identification and isolation of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria and the development of novel antimicrobials. His clinical duties are directed towards the role of bacteria associated with oral infections. Derren's interest in imaging stems from his outreach work, through which he enjoys showing the public the hidden world of microbiology.
